Samuel Burgos is an award-winning Cuban bassist born in Santiago de Cuba. He has collaborated with some of the most renowned artists in the Cuban, Latin Jazz, and Jazz scenes, including Aymee Nuviola, Arturo Sandoval, Roberto Fonseca, Joe Lovano, and Arturo O’Farrill.

He has performed on some of the most prestigious jazz stages worldwide, such as NPR’s Tiny Desk, Blue Note, the San Sebastián Jazz Festival, and the Barcelona Jazz Festival.

His recording work includes contributions to several Latin Grammy-nominated albums, including “Tres” by Renesito Avich and “Alma Cubana” by Leoni Torres, consolidating his reputation as a versatile and highly sought-after bassist.
